Greetings from the Miami Beach Tax Payers Association!

Dear Fellow Resident and Taxpayer,

We would like to take this opportunity to invite you to our monthly meeting of the Miami Beach Tax Payers Association.

The meeting will be held on September 7th morning at 8:15 AM at the Shelborne Hotel (1801 Collins Ave.) We invite all Miami Beach Taxpayers to join us for this meeting, muffins and coffee will be served.

We are pleased to announce that Mayor Carlos Gimenez will be joining our meeting. Mayor Gimenez will update us on all of the new and exciting changes he is making to the City of Miami to help streamline their government in order to make it more cost efficient and productive.

In addition, our subcommittees will shed some light on recent resolutions that have been passed by the Association and our next steps in developing these resolutions for presentation to the City Commission. Also, as always, we will hold an open forum for fellow taxpayers to voice any concerns or issues they may have.

The association is dedicated to help bringing awareness and solutions to the following issues facing our amazing city of Miami Beach.
• Excessive Taxes
• Bloated Municipal Payrolls
• Lack of Planning
• Delayed Infrastructure Projects
• Inefficient Buildings Department
• Outdated Convention Center
• Honesty in Government

MBTA does not endorse candidate or political parties. Our goal and mission is to allow the taxpayers of Miami Beach to be heard in an open forum and collaboratively come up with solutions for these issues for the betterment of our future as a city.
